We are very saddened to to report the passing of our Chairman Michael Goakes on Saturday 19th of December.
A very brave and humble man.
The following is from his immediate family.
Michael passed away 19.12.2020 at 5p.m. He fought hard aginst cancer, sadly the chemo made him poorly and he was admitted to Addenbrookes 26th November, they were doing well and reviewing his treatment. On Wednesday 9th December he tested positive for covid-19. He had been doing well but sadly Friday he took a turn for the worse. It was too much for him. I was at his side. He was a loving, kind family man who did much for the community, we will miss him dearly.
