Road Roller Association chairman Michael Goakes recently found a link to this very different machine advertised for sale in the United States of America.
It is in actual fact a 1929 or 30 Chevy car transformed into a roller at some point in the 1950s!
This highly unusual conversion was built for a private airfield and was advertised as having had a lot of work done to it and being a good runner.
It was also said to be “one of a kind” - the accompanyin images certainly confirm the latter point!
